Marguerite Jefferson was reported missing by her daughter who had not seen or heard from her mother since April 15, 2015. Marguerite's grandson, who was living with her at the time, was charged with her murder, but later found incompetent to be prosecuted. Investigators found evidence in the apartment suggesting Marguerite had been murdered there. Neighbors came forward stating that they believe Marguerite was placed in a large box and put in a dumpster at the apartment complex after they helped the grandson carry the box. Despite searches of the local landfill, Marguerite's body has not been found.
