Carolyn disappeared in either 1970 or 1971 after a night out "across the Red River" in Bokchito, OK. She and her sister left their home in Bonham, TX and traveled to Bokchito, Oklahoma. Once in Bokchito, it is said that Carolyn met up with a man who offered to give her a ride home at the end of the night. This was the last time Carolyn was seen. Carolyn's mother is alleged to have filed a missing persons report in Bonham after Carolyn did not come home. Moxxy Forensic Investigations recently began working on Carolyn's case and has since contacted law enforcement agencies in both Bokchito and Durant, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the city of Bonham, Texas, as well as Fannin County, Texas, but no missing persons report or file could be located on Carolyn Briggs. Moxxy is working with law enforcement to try and get a missing persons report filed for Carolyn so that her DNA can be added to CODIS. All individuals who are known to have been within Carolyn's social circle are now deceased. Carolyn was a mother of three, and her disappearance was regarded as out of character by her loved ones. They say she would never have intentionally leave her children.
