Gary Hall was last seen walking along the Red River levee toward his home at 4:30 p. m. on April 25, 1977, in Bossier City. Eleven days after his disappearance, a friend of Gary's came forward and said he and Gary had been playing on logs along the bank of Red River when Gary fell in. However, according to a man who was working near the area, he claimed to have not seen the two boys playing in the area and would have heard Gary fall into the river. After two weeks, the search for Gary was called off. Law enforcement believe Gary fell into the river and drowned.
