Hans was last seen in the town of Acme WA with his dog (yellow lab). Hans was driving a Ford Bronco and told a friend that he was going for a hike. One day later, the Bronco was found abandoned on a logging road in the Saxon Valley. The yellow lab was found in close proximity of the Bronco and the keys to the Bronco were found approximately 3 miles downhill from the Bronco. One set of footprints were seen walking away from the Bronco. A massive search of the area was conducted, and he was not found.
