Mr. Cantuba was a commercial fisherman and living on the commercial fishing vessel at the time of his disappearance. Per the original report Mr. Cantuba went missing on 09-03-02 at approximately 10:00 PM when he left the boat to use the pay phone and did not return. Mr. Cantuba's family was in the Phillipines and as of the date 10-07-2002. Members of the Toledo Police Department had been in contact with family who stated they had not heard from Mr. Cantuba.
