Description

William McKinnon went hiking on Church Mountain with his roommate and two other friends on 02/14/1993. The group had hiked this same trail together previously, approximately three times before, and were familiar with the area. The group reached snow at around the 4, 500 foot level and William did not feel comfortable walking on the snow, fearing he may fall. William decided to wait at this location while the rest of the group continued their hike to the meadows and back. When the group returned, William was not there.
