Richard F. Ruest was staying in the Sky Way Hotel in Miami, Florida when he went missing around October 11, 1979. Cleaning services gathered his belongings when he did not check out of the room he had rented. It is believed that Richard was carrying his wallet and other identifiable items when he went missing.
