The missing, Montanez, last talked to his family on or around 04/01/2023. Approximately six weeks later, Montanez's family received a message indicating that he had passed and scavengers had gained access to his remains. The family thought this was odd because they had never received any official information that their son had passed. It is unknown specifically where this allegedly occurred.
