Vincent Clyelle Deal and two other friends (Carl Buschmann and Donald Reed) had gone fishing on Lake Tahoe and had not returned. Search and Rescue operations were conducted by Sheriff's Office personnel via marine and air, including the US Coast Guard and private citizens. The vessel, a 12' Sears Gamefisher, was located floating upside down and no persons were located on top of, underneath, nor floating near by the boat. The SAR was terminated with negative sightings near the vessel and surrounding areas.
