Y Rue Buonya was last seen inside his room at a retirement community. When they checked on him again he was gone. Buonya lived independently and was there for comfort care and did not have any medical conditions requiring him to be there. He never eloped from the residence before and staff are unaware of any reason he would want to leave. Another caregiver mentioned that Buonya told them he was "going home" but didn't know if that mean to a location he lived previously or back to Vietnam where he was originally from.
