Anderson was employed at K&K Seafood in Chester, Queen Anne's County, Maryland. On April 20, 1979, Anderson had traveled to Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland to have repair work done on her vehicle. Anderson picked up her vehicle from the Tate Dodge dealer, and was never heard from again. Authorities believe that Katherine Anderson may have been taken against her will.
