Description

Kulas was last seen when he left a party in Two Harbors, Minnesota for active and retired Duluth Missabe and Iron Range Railway on May 11, 1985. Kulas was a retiree of DM & IR. His vehicle was found the next day in the ditch along Lake County Road 2, about 25 miles north of Two Harbors and about 13 miles from his home in Brimson, Minnesota. An intensive ground and air search was made soon after his vehicle was found. Sixty tracking dogs were used to help locate Kulas to no avail. His body has never been found.
