Sandra Vanderhoef was reported missing to the Webster County Sheriff’s Office in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on September 22, 1986. The Iowa Department of Public Safety classifies Vanderhoef’s disappearance as “Endangered / Physical, ” which includes a person of any age who is missing under circumstances indicating his/her physical safety is in danger.
