Description

Jay was last seen on 01/17/2016 around 10:00 am. He and his mother drove to the pharmacy in Erie. He parked the truck and got out, walked away and hasn't been seen since. He did not take his wallet, glasses, phone or cigarettes. Partial remains of Mr. Shumate were discovered in 2023 and positively identified in 2025. His case will remain published pending additional searches and the potential discovery of his additional remains.
