On Sunday February 25th, 2018 at approximately 6:20 PM or 1820 hours a single vessel boating accident with a missing person occurred inside Lakes Passage, west of Key West, Florida. Search efforts for 37 hours by FWC, USG and USN encompassing 2, 032 square miles were called off on Tuesday 2/27/2018 at 1948 hours.
