On June 18, 1999 Ruth was scheduled to meet with two individuals for breakfast at a Denny's restaurant. She has never been heard from again. Her son found her vehicle, described as a white extended cab 1997 Dodge Dakota mid-size pickup, was found abandoned in the parking lot at the Denny's restaurant in the vicinity of 51st Ave. and Indian School Rd.
