Description

Five individuals left Talkeetna, Alaska on a sight-seeing tour and the plane crashed and came to rest in a crevasse at almost 11, 000 feet altitude, high on a knife-edge ridge of Thunder Mountain about 14 miles from Denali's summit. Victims are Janusz Intek, Kazimierz Miernik, Maria Libacka, Robert Sieniawski (all Polish visitors) and Craig Layson from Michigan. All victims have been confirmed deceased, but have not been recovered from the wreckage.
