Marta had been in the US. for one month (from Mexico) and resided in Los Angeles. On 2/6/2006, a friend dropped her off at 3pm in the city of Orange to work as a street vendor and when another friend went to pick her up on Glassell Street, north of Collins at 7pm that same day she was not there.
