At approximately 00:55 on 6/23/19 officers were dispatched to the boat ramp at Silver Street and D A Biglane in reference to a white male subject walking past the barricades into the flooded area covering the road and went under the water and did not reappear. Judy Martin who stated she and Carl King had walked on Silver St. toward DA Biglane St. and when they approached the flooded street Carl decided to wade into the water to see if they could cross. Ms. Martin stated that Carl had just about made it to the do not enter sign that was posted on the boat ramp on the DA Biglane side when he went under the water and never came back up. No body was ever recovered in this case.
