Description

Kenneth Abell was an active duty Marine when he and two fellow soldiers paddled out to the Mokulua Islands approximately one mile offshore from Lanikai Beach. Once on the island, Abell was navigating over rocks near the water's edge, was swept off by a wave into the ocean, and never resurfaced. An extensive search was conducted however, he was never found.
