Latisha was reported missing by her family on August 2, 2010. At the time of her disappearance, she was going to visit a friend after work. On January 21, 2011, a tip from the public resulted in the arrest of a male suspect and later several other suspects who were accused of killing the child and placing her body in a dumpster.
