Description

On the morning of 07/28/2023 a group of individuals, including the decedent, were crossing the United States-Mexico border on foot in Jamul. The decedent and another individual became involved in an argument with other individuals in the group, who fired a gun toward the decedent and other individual and struck them multiple times. The decedent died at the scene and the other individual was transported to a local hospital and was reported to survive. A possible identity is "Carlos Salazar"; however, no other information was known other than the name.
