Description

It was reported that on 12/02/2022, a human skull was discovered by a hiker near Goat Canyon Trestle trail in Anza Borrego State Park. On 12/07/2022, the California Highway Patrol made contact with the remains and confirmed the findings. On 12/09/2022, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene with officers and transported the remains to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
