Description

On 1/16/20 at approximately 0855 hours, the Yuma County Sheriff's Office responded to the remote desert area south of Dateland, Arizona and west of Mohawk Pass in reference to human remains located in the desert. USBP was notified of the presence of the remains which had been located by a humanitarian group. The remains consisted of a skull and mandible. A gray athletic shoe was also located in the area where the skull and mandible were recovered.
