Description

On 01/02/2024 the Yuma County Sheriff's Office notified the Medical Examiner's office regarding skeletal remains located in the desert area south of Dateland, Arizona. The remains were initially located by a hunter scouting the area and were reported to law enforcement. The remains consisted of a skull and three bone fragments. No belonging or clothing were located with the remains. The remains were recovered and brought to the medical Examiner's Office were skull and teeth samples were retained pending possible DNA analysis.
