Description

On 3/15/2024 the Yuma County Sheriff's Office contacted the Medical Examiner's Office in reference to skeletal remains located in the desert area south of Aztec, Arizona. The remains were located by US Border Patrol Agents. The remains consisted of a skull with no mandible. No belongings or clothing were located with the remains. The remains were recovered and brought to the Medical Examiner's Office where skull and teeth samples were retained pending possible DNA analysis.
