Description

On 05/27/1977, a transient male exited the train on the Southern Pacific Railroad property. As he was walking through an open desert along the tamarack trees, on the south side of the railroad right of way, about. 4 miles e/o the Date Palm overcrossing, he found the decedent mummified remains. LE was notified and responded to the scene (near mile post 596). No trauma was found. He appeared to have died from natural causes.
