Description

A neighbor reported a foul odor coming from the decedent's residence in a single residential occupancy. Building management contacted local police department, who made a forced entry into the unit. The subject was found obviously deceased inside. The body was discovered seated on the bed, slumped forward, and clothed in a sweater and socks. There were no indications of foul play, obvious post-injury (OPI), signs of defensive action (SDA), or trauma. No evidence of alcohol, tobacco, prescription medications, or illicit substances was observed at the scene. The subject had no known medical history on file.
