Description

Police were called to the quarry site on 08-31-99 at 1116 hours which is off of Route 130 and about 1. 1 miles above the highway and was described as a very remote location. Human skeletal remains were discovered by a worker who was operating heavy machinery to load cinder from a large cinder cone. Detectives responded and recovered the remains and searched the base of the cinder cone to locate any other bones or evidence and nothing else was found. On 09-07-99, workers found additional bones and part of a leather shoe while working in same area. On 09-27-99, thirteen additional bones and one partial denture plate with seven false teeth were also found in same area.
