Description

A passerby who regularly walks along a downtown greenbelt noticed a foul odor emanating from a grate inlet under a bridge. The witness used an RC car with an attached video camera and a rope to search the storm drainage pipe. Upon inspection, the witness's video appeared to show an unresponsive apparent human remains in a supine position within the pipe. A member of AFD Special Operations traveled approximately 60ft into the storm drainage pipe and was able to securely remove the decedent who was subsequently pronounced.
