Description

An anonymous subject reported to dispatch that there were possible human remains located beneath Deer Creek Bridge, off North Shore Road. Officers collected samples of the bones and on 9/17/2003 it was determined that they were human and officers went to collect the remainder of the bones. They were located in the creek right under the bridge submerged in water. The remains were incomplete and after 2 anthropology examinations in 2003 and 2025 it was determined that they had been burned and they were consistent with a single person. One report thought it was a probable Jane Doe, and one thought it was a probable John Doe.
