Description
On 09/15/1993 remains were located on the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks 1 mile south of Macdoel, Ca. It appeared that he had been there for multiple days. Train engineers had seen buzzards on both 09/13/1993 and 09/14/1993 but thought it was just a deceased animal. Officers thought that the decedent may have fallen in between the train cars onto the tracks. Items of property most likely belonging to the decedent were found 350 feet north of the body. No identification or money was found on the decedent or with his belongings and there were some materials found that were printed in Spanish. It is unknown if the decedent was thrown or had fallen on his own off/out of the train. The autopsy reports states that the probable cause was from a pedestrian to train accident, but investigators were unsure of the manner, and there has not been one officially identified.
