Description

The decedent was a male of unknown residence. On the late evening hours of 02/20/2026 the decedent was seen walking to a dumpster enclosure in a small business plaza in National City. In the early morning of 02/21/2026, an individual called 911 to report flames coming from the dumpster enclosure, and law enforcement and emergency medical services responded and extinguished the fire. The decedent's charred remains were located lying supine in the area with no identifying documents around.
