Description
On 07/18/1955, a section foreman for Santa Fe Railroad reported that one of his section hands found the decedent under a loading wooden platform Taylor Street and railroad tracks in Arlington. Deputies responded to the scene and found the decedent approx. 20 feet e/o the main track and approx. 200' n/e of Taylor St. The platform was about 25' long and 12' wide. Access to the area could be obtained by crawling through the X framing members which were connected to the heaving piling supports under h flooring of the platform. The decedent was supine with his head on a folded stripe dress coat. Bundles containing trousers, jacket, and cooking equipment were nearby. (Case is entered in CCMS 1955-10491)
