Description

The decedent was found unconscious in a public bathroom on the beach in Long Beach (650 Shoreline Dr, Long Beach, CA 90802) on 5/15/14 after suffering a medical event. 911 was called and Long Beach Fire Department paramedics transported the decedent to St. Mary Medical Center (Long Beach). On 5/16/14 the decedent was transferred to LAC+USC Medical Center (Los Angeles) for a higher level of care. He never regained consciousness. On 7/11/14 he was transferred to Studio City Rehab Center (Studio City) where he remained comatose and unidentified. On 9/23/16 the decedent was transported to Sherman Oaks Hospital (Sherman Oaks) where he was pronounced dead on 9/24/16.
