Description

On 03/06/1953, around 1300 hours, the "City Police Department" received reports that the decedent and two other males, were reportedly injured, just east of the yard office. When first responders arrived, they found only the decedent. He was reportedly riding the No. 1 passenger train, in the "blinds", and tried to leave the train before it came to a stop which threw him into the freight standing on another track, injuring him. He was transported via ambulance to Coachella Valley Hospital, where his death was pronounced on 03/07/1953, at 2315 hours.
