Description

In the summer of 2022, the owner of a local funeral home contacted the Weld County Coroner's Office after receiving a box containing suspected human remains that were believed to have been used for educational purposes. Their origin and the length of time they had been stored were unknown. The skull remained in the custody of the Weld County Coroner's Office until it was later released to the Windsor Police Department for continued investigation.
