Description

The decedent was involved in an auto vs pedestrain accident on 09/01/2017 at 2215 hrs. Reportedly she was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound in the #1 lane on PCH at approximately 45 miles per hour. The vehicle pulled over and called 911 who arrived and pronounced her at the scene at 2215 hrs. She was believed to possibly be a transient and she was not recognized by police. It was not known if the decedent was crossing the street or inadvertently walked into the traffic lane. The incident was not a hit and run and no charges were pending.
