Description

"John Doe #19-79” was found at Soda Dry Lake, 4. 5 miles south of I-15, along Zzyzx Rd. near Baker CA. on 09/15/79. He is described as a White male adult, approximately 25-30 years old, 5’10”, 175 lbs, with long blonde hair (about 1 ½ - 2 feet long), and a mustache. He was wearing a dark pullover shirt with the lettering “Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind – We are not alone”. The original investigators at the time of death described him as appearing to be a “hippy type person”. Identity may only be established with fingerprints (on file and see attached), dental records, head X-rays, and eventually DNA ( body was exhumed for sampling on 10/08/10).
