Description

A taxi cab ran a red light at an intersection on 10th street and struck a van going south on 10th street. The van spun out of control and struck a pedestrian, the subject, crossing 10th street. The subject was then transported and admitted to San Francisco General Hospital. He was rushed to surgery and an exploratory thorocotomy was performed, the right chest was cracked, cardiac massage and aortic cross clamping were carried out. The subject then went into full cardiac arrest and expired.
