Description

The subject was found laying on the sidewalk, unresponsive, at 6th and Howard. Emergency services were called, and he was taken to Mission Emergency Hospital where he arrived in full cardiac arrest. The subject was evaluated to be hypothermic and an emergency bilateral thoracotomy was performed. Subject was resuscitated and put a ventilator, his body temperature rose, but he remained comatose with no signs of brain stem function. He eventually expired three days later.
