Description

Skull discovered on grounds of monastery on 10/11/2019 at ~1000 hours- found by teacher and her students hiking. Monastery staff notified L. A. Co. Sheriff, with skull turned over to LASD 10/12/19. Subsequent searches of area by LASD and Coroner did not reveal any additional obvious human remains. No leads as to identity of this decedent. Investigation still ongoing.
