Description
On July 6th, 2020, two citizens discovered what appeared to be human bones along a sand bar on the Elk River in Madison County, Nebraska. The Madison County Sheriff's Office collected the two bones and then conducted a search of the area. The area is located west of the Ta-Ha-Zouka Park at the previously listed GPS coordinates. The search did not reveal any additional remains. The investigating agency believes one of the recovered bones is possibly a human cervical vertebrae. The area received extensive flooding during March of 2019.
