Description

Unknown asian male found washed ashore at Beach 169th street. Decedent was an illegal immigrant on the cargo ship "Golden Venture", which ran aground on a sand bar at approximately 2am on 6/06/1993. Approximately 250-300 illegal immigrants were on board; they jumped over and swam to shore after ship became stuck.
