Description

On 08/06/2021 at approximately 2140 hours, the decedent was walking along the sidewalk when a witness observed him clutch his chest and collapse. The witness administered CPR and flagged down LAPD officers. EMS personnel were dispatched and paramedics pronounced death on scene at 2205 hours. Empty beer containers were observed near the decedent. No drugs, paraphernalia, or prescribed medication were located on scene. Foul play is not suspected. The decedent appears to be a transient.
