Description
Cranium found 26 May 2007 on an oyster bed at the mouth of Ellis Creek, off James Island, South Carolina. Unprovenienced femur found 2 March 2010. Ellis Creek opens into the Charleston Harbor. DNA testing confirms the two elements are from the same individual. Possibly disturbed historic burial?
