Circumstances
A jogger found the decedent's body in vacant field near 98th and Tower Road, in what was then an undeveloped area west of I-25 and approximately a mile south of I-40. Her body had been wrapped in six dark green or black plastic garbage bags. The top of the outer bag was tied with green electrical wire with copper-colored core. The bottom of the bag was tied about the legs with white 1/4" diameter rope. Multiple fractures on the left side of the skull and left lower leg were present. Within two weeks of her discovery, authorities released the fact that they were unable to find any suitable matches to those reported missing in the area, and they requested assistance from those who had any information about the victim or her murder. .
