Description

On 5/19/1957 a skull was found in the lowlands area of the Neuse River just outside the Kinston City limits. The skull was initially sent to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill anthropology department for analysis. No additional information was received. As of November 2021 the skull is now in the possession of Dr Ann Ross @ NC State University at the North Carolina Human Identification and Forensic Analysis Laboratory
