Skeletal remains were found on 2nd Avenue between 31st and 34th Street in an industrial area in Tampa, Florida on February 6, 1986. It is estimated that she was found 3 to 8 weeks after her death. The anthropology report suggests that she had sustained injuries to the left side of her head and nose earlier in life which may have caused a deviated septum. Her teeth were in poor condition and may have been causing her pain. Chemical isotope analysis suggests that she was likely born and raised in Florida.
