Description

Remains discovered in a wooded area approximately 125 ft south of the roadway at the above location, by a road survey crew. Remains found clad in bluejeans and black boots. On 6/11/98, approximately one month prior to discovery of the remains, an unknown individual wearing the same clothes and matching the description of the deceased (black male) was observed walking along I-10, acting ill and disoriented. When authorities (Baldwin, FL Fire Dept. ) responded to assist, the individual insisted he was ok and then fled into the woods. This incident occured approximately 50 yards west of where the remains were later found.
